Maybe He IS the Unabomber

Broncos Quarterback Jake Plummer has been served a citation for a hit and run incident he had with a man named Doug Stone last month.

Stone alleges Plummer in a gray Honda van was driving recklessly cutting off three vehicles before cutting off his. “I wasn’t very polite, I honked my horn quite a bit” Plummer’s response was to step out of the van kick Stone’s car and say “Stay off my tail!”. He then pulled the van in reverse for about 10 seconds pushing Stone’s car and sped off.

Plummer disputes the recollection but admits to being in an accident he didn’t initially report.

Interesting notes are 1) Plummer, an NFL Quarterback driving a GRAY HONDA VAN 2) Stone initially not recognizing Plummer (even a non-football fan in Denver can recognize the Broncos Quarterback with a beard halfway down his neck) and 3) Plummers’ agents attempt to spin in “the kicker”

Still not as big an offense as last year's AFC Championship

Cunnilingus & Psychiatry: "Cold Stones"

(SPOILER SPACE: If you don’t want last night’s episode of The Sopranos spoiled for you do not scroll past the picture of Phil Leotardo)

While few would confuse me for La Cosa Nostradamus, I haven’t been this right in a prediction since Syracuse got upset by Vermont. Vito Spatafore is no longer, coming to a gruesome demise via Phil Leotardo’s crew. Tony took this as direct disrespect and is contemplating going to war. Silvio and Carlo’s short temper with a Leotardo underling may expedite that decision. I can’t take full credit for my prediction as Phil’s involvement in Vito’s death was initially brought up by Beers on our drive back from Coach’s Bachelor Party.

Carmela and Rosalie took a vacation to France, Rosalie spent the time shopping and banging 26 year old French guys and Carmela wanted to talk about Rosalie’s tragic past. What often bothers me with The Sopranos is when they spend half an episode on a storyline and the purpose of said storyline isn’t revealed. Was it worth sending a crew to film in France to point out that while you can take Carmela out of New Jersey, you can’t take New Jersey out of Carmela and that she has now figured out that Adrianna is indeed dead? Or is something else going to come out of this trip? One thing this did provide was some hilarious cutaways from the Paris trip to the New Jersey crew. From Carmela praying in the cathedral to Tony getting roadhead from the hottest Bada Bing girl I’ve ever seen on this show to images of ancient French statues to Silvio telling a guy cleaning the sign to the Bada Bing “get that shit off her tit”. I usually can’t tell the difference between good editing and bad editing but this was outstanding job of editing by the editors of this show.

Finally, Tony has come around and joined everyone watching this show in hating AJ. The writers have done a perfect job in making AJ one of the most despicable television child characters ever. Even though he realizes his hate for AJ is a product of his protecting him from his other family, his blood boils to the point he takes AJ’s old high school football helmet to his new SUV, smashing the windshield.

The show is not airing a new episode on Memorial Day Weekend, which is smart but the next episode is the last until January. Apparently HBO only planned to show 10 episodes this season and the final 8 next. Hope for (but don’t expect) everything to come together in these last nine episodes. Other passing thoughts:

Television can be very influential on impressionable women. Therefore I am demanding an increase in the amount of roadhead shown on television.

“Syracuse tanked again”, good to see they let down degenerates too.

If I write a Pilot and it gets picked up and I get shitty service from a chain restaurant or say movie store. I am definitely having my slacker kid character get a job at that establishment and making a point of the disgrace of working there, then having him get fired to point out the bigger disgrace of getting fired from there. I’m guessing David Chase was charged a late fee when he wasn’t expecting one.
