Rest of College Football Week Coming over the Weekend
Sorry guys, my new job has caused me to fall behind on the blog a couple days. The Heisman Preview, SU Preview, and Top 25 are all in progress and should be ready by the end of the weekend. Until then and for a hint of what's to come here are my projected bowl matchups. (Note: I do not project some conferences to have enough bowl eligible teams to fill all of their slots, those slots have been filled with teams without a direct bowl allocation e.g. Navy)

Man, seems as if Derek did a lot of research. I don't know anything about half these teams. Here are a few comments:
1) There's a Poinsetta Bowl? I think this is new. How come it has no sponsor? Derek, think of a good company that should sponsor that bowl. The Bertucci's Poinsetta Bowl.
2) Is there anyway to arrange it so that BYU could play in the Las Vegas Bowl? Half their players would miss the game after a gambling and hooker binge.
3) I'd love to see Florida State vs South Carolina, my favorite coach in college against my least favorite coach in college. Mike loves Bobby Bowden, "Player flew."
4) Penn State in a bowl? Does that mean 20 more years of JoePa? Until his corpse decomposes on the sidelines.
5) SU will not finish second in the Big East. I don't even think they'll win enough games to qualify for a bowl.
6) Virginia Tech is a gutsy pick.
7) I think Texas will finally beat Oklahoma but lose to USC in the title game.
