Where Have I Heard This Before?

You may have seen and been impressed by these new Cadillac CTS ads featuring Kate Walsh and New Zealand actor Martin Henderson.







You may have heard the riff after each actor asks “Does it return the favor?” and think “Where have I heard this before?”



Well it comes from one of my favorite 90’s rock songs “Stars” by one-hit wonders Hum released in 1995. The riff is about a minute in. Song is everything that made 90’s rock what it was, angst and sadness expressed at the same time but with an energy that made it enjoyable to listen to.
