Thamel vs. Auburn

My close friend and New York Times College Football writer Pete Thamel has uncovered academic shenanigans with football players at Auburn. Allegedly 18 members of the 2004 undefeated Auburn football team took 97 hours worth of Sociology courses from a Professor Thomas Petee, the senior member of the department. Most of those courses were labeled "directed-reading" and involved no attended classes, some only requiring one book be read with a 10 page paper to be written. The NCAA and SEC are awaiting the results of Auburn's own investigation into the matter it is not expected that any findings of wrongdoing by the football program will be revealed through the investigation especially now that whistleblower Professor James Gundlach is nowrefusing to cooperate. Without any coercion I'm sure (yeah, right!)

Cadillac Williams was one of Professor Petee's favorite students

I think it's more honorable to cheat on a test than to cut your hair and leave the droppings on the floor of a public bathroom. Up Yours Thamel!
