Cunnilingus & Psychiatry: "Moe n' Joe"

This week, Tony dealt with his resentment towards his sister Janice and how it affected his dealings with her husband, mobster, train collector, and capo wanna-be Bobby Bacala. He revealed what most of us know that he resents Janice for leaving him to deal with his mother and the consequences of that at the end of the very first season, among other childhood torturings. I can only hope that now that this is open and the justification for Janice's existence that she can now get shot in the head never to be seen again.

In New York, Johnny Sack has seen better days. Facing up to 20 years in jail, he fails to turn government cooperator however the plea deal and the subsequent allocution (he admits to being involved in organized crime) cause him equal disrespect among his colleagues in New York and New Jersey and causes Phil Leotardo to end "this favored-nation shit with New Jersey". Tony takes advantage of this in a business arrangement with Johnny Sack pretty much exchanging Ginny's house for his pushing a deal with a couple New Orleans' businessmen for some post-Katrina contracts. We now have the backdrop for the New York-New Jersey war that should end the series this season and next.

Stealing the show though was Vito (Vince) and his new boyfriend Jim (Johnny Cakes). They expressed their love for each other in the kitchen and the bedroom but after Vito realizes he can't cut a real construction day-to-day, he bolts Jim and his fake New Hampshire town and returns to a more familiar but dangerous setting, New Jersey. I admit I flipped away from the bedroom scene, even in 2006 some things I just can't look at. I didn't find Vito's "I Love You, Johnny Cakes!" line that funny at first, but now that its being played on every radio station in the country, it is permanently in book of quotes.

After this episode, I'm pretty sure where this season is going. Phil is still ticked about not being able to kill Steve Buschemi (Tony B.) the way he wanted to, he is also burned by Vito's coming out and its effects on his cousin, Vito's wife. Phil will end up killing Vito in some gruesome, unforgettable fashion. Because he's a captain in Tony's family, this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back between Phil's New York Crew and Tony's New Jersey Crew and we go to the mattresses (which is what everyone wants to see) for the final season.

Next week's preview was pretty vague. Phil still hot about Vito. Silvio borrowing money behind Tony's back. Tony and A.J. having another moment. I take these with a grain of salt now.

So I guess that guy in the Antique shop was just some slut?
